Mitchell is the Managing Director of Apostle Funds Management. He is an experienced business leader with specialist knowledge of the financial services industry, including investment strategy, manager research, asset allocation, fund structuring, distribution, and risk management.
During his time at Apostle, Mitchell has built the capabilities of the firm to cater to the private wealth and wholesale channels, in addition to Apostle’s traditional institutional client base.
In conjunction with Karyn West, Mitchell runs the manager selection program at Apostle. This involves searching the globe for managers specialising in alternative strategies and completing due diligence.
Prior to Apostle, Mitchell worked at a venture capital firm in New Zealand and a private equity group in New York.
Mitchell holds a Bachelor in Finance and Accounting from Auckland University of Technology. He is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has completed his Responsible Investment Certification through the PRI Academy. He is also a member of the Apostle Board.
