As the director at Apostle Funds Management, Mitchell leads a high-performing team committed to delivering top-tier solutions to investors who seek real-world results without compromising financial returns. Leading the institutional sales for the firm, Mitchell has propelled Apostle’s growth with a considered approach that centres on client needs and the provision of tailored solutions.
Before joining Apostle, Mitchell honed his skills at a Venture Capital firm in New Zealand and a private equity group in New York. In 2019, Mitchell embarked on a secondment working closely with one of Apostle’s managers, Kayne Anderson, to immerse himself in the solutions offered by the US Alternatives manager. This experience granted Mitchell a thorough understanding of the challenges and opportunities of the asset class and a granular understanding of it solutions to optimally address investor needs.
Mitchell holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting from Auckland University of Technology. He is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has completed his Responsible Investment Certification through the PRI Academy. He is also a member of the Apostle Board.
